Here’s a thing you might not know if this is your first year at Scarefest: we’re located a little ways out from things. The location is beautiful. The lodging is spooky. Our cup overfloweth with ambience. But…we’re about a ten minute drive each way from anywhere you could pick up a bite to eat. And that’s why, a couple of years ago, we took it upon ourselves to arrange meal tickets for players.

We’ve tried a lot of different systems over the years, but in the name of keeping things as simple as possible we’ve opted to have the meal tickets cover buffet-style all-you-can-eat meals up at Assembly Inn for all meals.

Please note that if you are planning on coming to help set up on Thursday (or just arriving Thursday night) you can add Friday breakfast at Assembly Inn to your order, but that meal is optional. The base meal ticket covers:

• Friday lunch
• Friday dinner
• Saturday breakfast
• Saturday lunch
• Saturday dinner
• Sunday breakfast
• Sunday lunch

** Note that usually a few people can buy meal tickets on site directly from Montreat, but they do not guarantee enough food for those who don’t reserve in advance, nor can they accommodate special diets at that time. You’ll need to reserve a meal ticket in advance if you want guaranteed meals.
