The time is nearly upon us...
This year's Scarefest is one week from today! Here's what you need to know:
|
- If you have reserved on site lodging, you will go to the Bethea Welcome Center (see map below) to get your keys. Check in to all lodging is at 4PM.
- The convention, itself, is in Shackford Hall (again...see that map). The Info Desk there will have your tickets, as well as any other stuff you ordered.
- You will receive a program when you get your ticket. PLEASE READ IT! There's important stuff in there. And a treasure hunt!
- If you would like tea and coffee throughout the weekend...we are not allowed to set those up in the main building. But we *can* have them in Hillside Lodge, which is a short walk away. So feel free to bring your own mug for that.
- Our convention schedule (along with other important information) can be found on our FAQ page here.
- If you have any questions before the convention, feel free to just reply to this email!

Time Isn't Real...

Sure, in theory you've known this was coming for a long time and obviously should have already bought your ticket. However...as we may have mentioned, we're not even sure what day it is, most of the time lately, so we're sure as hell not going to judge. If you haven't gotten your ticket yet, it is not too late! Best do it now, though, before it turns out to be yesterday.

Minion Corner
So...everything is fine. Really. All the Minions are very much looking forward to seeing everyone again and having a perfectly normal, highly enjoyable weekend where nothing at all goes wrong. Certainly not time slippage. Certainly not ghostly images of Scarefests past and future. Nothing like that. At all. But...if you have a watch...maybe bring that. Something a little more objective than just your perception. We find those...centering. For no reason, you understand.

The Overlord is not speaking backward like one of those 80's records that had dubiously demonic words on it if you played it in reverse. The Yeti does not appear to be reversing in age and disgorging goldfish it ate nine years ago. Elizabete does not appear to be fluctuating between being...a few different species. And the Tiny Turtles and Baby Miniature Dire Goats are not walking backward. None of this is happening, because it would be ridiculous if it were, and also impossible.
