For centuries, the old haunted house stood just outside of town and beckoned to strange people. Some broke in to hold seances, others huddled in the corners for warmth, and some found themselves there against their will. And after centuries of plaguing the landscape with its malevolent silhouette, the house is now filled with the spirits of those that died there. If the spirits of the house can remember how they died and what killed them, they might just be able to leave this world, and the house, behind them, but the chances of success are low when their only sources of information have memories as faulty as their own.
