Good townsfolk attempt to suss out a demon before the town succumbs to the Imp and their minions.

Rating: PG – Mostly Harmless

Content Warning: The game includes death of characters. Sometimes as a storyteller I will give brief descriptions of these deaths, but that can be forgone. Game contains reference to alcohol with “drunkenness” as a game state.

Safety: Will allow for X-Carding if needed. Game includes mechanics for accessibility and group facilitation via “Fabled” character mechanics.

Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game, in the style of Werewolf or Mafia, in which townsfolk try to root out a murderous demon in their midst. Different from most other social deduction werewolf games, by allowing the presence of ghosts, Blood on the Clocktower removes the problems caused by early player elimination. A single game tends to last 45-75 minutes depending on player count and experience.

Trouble Brewing is the recommended script for new Blood on the Clocktower players. It offers a balance of accessibility and replayability. Good players must work together to gather information while evil players have several potent tricks to lead the good team astray.
